3 MONTHS OLD

Our chunky monkey is 3 months old today.

Here is some Landry info...

We call her Landry, Sister, Sister Beth, Landry Beth, and L.B. (pronounced 'Elby')
She LIKES to be held and is very happy to be carried in her baby bjorn all day (except when she is sleeping). She loves to stand and won't bend her legs to let you sit her down. She must be held standing (and she is strong and can stand for a while). She is starting to be happy in her swing and sitting in her bumbo too. If she is really tired and fussy, there is no sitting down, walking is all that will do.

She is a good sleeper and averages about 10 solid hours a night and then plenty of hours during the day as long as it is a calm day and we are at our house. When you put her in her crib, it takes her just a few minutes to work herself sideways and put her feet up on the rails. She sucks on her fist more than her binky and I have a feeling she will eventually settle on some fingers and prefer them to a pacifier.
She loves to watch William and gets excited when he comes into the room. She is also very cautious when he comes too close and you can watch her arm go up in protection and she will slunk away from him. I think he has scared her one to many times with his excited yells and rough kisses.
In her three months Landry has spent at least one night in Dallas, Corpus, Abilene, San Antonio, Mathis and of course Kerrville.

She has been to a beach and a lake. She is quite the adventurer.
Her thighs are my favorite part and I can stop squeezing them. Daddy is enamored by her sweet cheeks and kisses her until she gets mad.
This is how Landry lays when she is awake. Note the feet. Her little feet are always together like that. If you remember the pics from her birth (still at the bottom of this blog), she came out that way. Her feet turn in, but wearing shoes and standing on them seems to be enough to straighten them out. If not, we'll worry about it when she starts walking.

Landry is very smiley and happy for me, Chad and William. She takes time with everyone else. She has to study you and new situations very seriously and her face is hilarious. She furrows her brow and looks all around. She will smile for strangers, but usually only women.

It has taken three days, but I think this post is finished. I don't have size stats, because she doesn't return to the P.A. until next month. She is wearing 3 to 6 month and 6 to 9 month old clothes. I'll try to weigh her and report what our home scale says.

The home scale says that she is 15.2 pounds! I also forgot to mention that she loves to look at herself in the mirror and grins every time she catches a glimpse of herself.
