We spent this past weekend celebrating Chad's Grandfather's 80th Birthday in Fredericksburg at some great cabins. We had lots of fun cooking out, hammocking (word?), scooter riding, jeep cruising, golfing, feeding the deer and elk, spotting the peacocks, swimming, and relaxing. It was a surprise party... Big Paw Paw and Maw Maw thought they were just coming to visit Steve & Karen for the weekend...they were shocked when they entered the cabin and found about ten extra people hiding in their bedroom. The scandalous "Golf Cake" (Chad's dad ordered an H.E.B. cake rather than the fancy bakery cake that he was told to order. We ended up with both of them, but it was a funny ordeal.)
