We have been busy little bunnies this past week. Let me catch you up in photos...
We started our celebrating the Sunday before Easter at Chad's Mom's Church for an Easter Egg Hunt. William then went to his school Egg Hunt in his precious Easter outfit from Ammie (think Grammie, without the 'gr') but of course I don't have pictures. One of the perks of not teaching next year will be that I get to go to William's school events! William was supposedly the only kid that knew what he was doing and got all the eggs. The teachers kindly helped him share his wealth with the other kids when he wasn't looking. These pics are from Ammie's church.
For Easter weekend we headed to my parent's lake house where the Easter Bunny (i.e. Nana and Bapa) had already delivered a huge purple basket full of goodies. The favorite was a fishing pole and tackle box.
The new pole and tackle box led to William's first catch. Seriously, this kid has good luck. Look at the size of that fish! Chad thought he was catching the pole on rocks until he went to help him and realized he had caught something good. We ate it.
P.S. when it is cold out and momma only packed for the warm weather, you get to fish in your jammies.
On Sunday morning the Easter bunny (momma) came and left another basket of goodies.
checking out his loot with daddy
Trying out his new sun-catcher paints with Aunt Erica (only aunts let you do this with non-washable paint)
Wearing his Easter/School picture outfit on the pier while Daddy, Bapa, and Uncle Jason rescue some stranded and floating jet skiers and their very flooded jet ski.
Hunting for Eggs for the third time this Easter! He loved it every time.
William is so sweet that he refused to crack confetti eggs on anyone, but after two days of prodding, he gave in and chose his daddy as the lucky one.
This isn't an Easter picture, but I had to share. William has a wonderful full size bed with super cute pottery barn baseball bedding and all matching pillows, but he HAS to sleep on this twin bed with his dinosaur pillow, race car pillow, large rainbow trout pillow, mismatched sheets and blanket, books, one night light, one hall light, and the perfect position to see mommy and daddy asleep in their bed down the hall. He isn't spoiled at all :-)
**Health Update**I went to the midwife yesterday and all looks good. They are going to start seeing me every two weeks now so things are moving along rapidly.
Later that afternoon my mom and I took William to see his doctor. He has had a "cold" for four weeks now and things got alot worse over Easter. The doc put him on a daily regimen of asthma medication (not because he has asthma, but because he has allergies that seem to present with the wheezing lungs and cough) and he put him on a 6yr. old dose of Zyrtec (allergy medicine) whenever these fronts blow into town or things seem to be getting bad. So, we are hoping this clears things up!

It looks like you guys had a fun Easter! I'm glad to hear things are good with you and baby Landry, and I also love the new addition of the daily quotes from William! :)
