First, thank you to all of you who have been looking for a wooden lion. Still no luck here, but William's Ba Pa (my dad) found a Daniel and the Lions Set that has William very entertained. When the package arrived, he immediately said, "this looks like Daniel and the lion's den. I'll name him new Aslan," (and he ignored the female lion that he is now carrying around as Aslan's nameless wife).
I feel like I never update on William, because he doesn't change every day like Landry does. Here are a few William updates. Right now he loves lions (duh), dinosaurs, snakes, and Cars (as in the movie and all of its' characters). He also likes real cars and he will watch mechanic shows on t.v. He is smack dab in the middle of the WHY and HOW stage. He must know everything about everything. It is not unusual at all for William to ask why God lets people die, why the dinosaurs are gone, how do babies get in the mommy's tummy, and what color playdough do snakes like all in one breath.
If he isn't asking questions, he is spinning tales. He loves to tell a story.
William is sharp as a tack. You cannot slip anything by him. He picks up on the subtlety of a person's mood, the background music of a show changing, and tones in voices. He hears everything and will often ask about a conversation hours or days later. I wonder how much time he spends thinking about the things he overhears.
William's latest pose is what he calls the "T-Rex"(note his claws)
This was taken on our way to the park after dinner last week.
Landry only leaves her glasses on as long as she thinks she is entertaining you. If you look away, the glasses come off.
Landry loves this bouncy grasshopper
It was a whopping 70 degrees, so of course William managed to get in the river.
After falling in the mud one too many times, William ended up riding home in his 'unders'

Landry is also standing up all the time now...such a big girl
her other favorite new trick is climbing out of the tub

The final fantastic update....
Landry's tear duct has opened on its' own! NO SURGERY!
Oh, and she has started waving hi and bye.
