family fun

Chad's dad and his wife Karen came to visit this past weekend. It was the worst weather we have had in a long time so we had lots of fun indoors. Steve brought a helicopter that you fly with remote control. William was in love with it. He even learned to say helicopter (well, sorta, it was more like hellacaca). On Saturday we went to my favorite place on earth - La Cantera. The guys let Karen and I get a little shopping in before we headed to Bass Pro Shop. As we walked through the doors at around 3:00, Steve joked that if we got separated we should just meet back at the front doors at dark. Well, he was right, we didn't leave until dark. I think that was the longest I have ever spent in one store. We had a wonderful time (even in Bass Pro) and we are so thankful for our family and all the times we get together.
These last two pics are of William in the church nursery. It shows how big he is getting. He was exhausted that day and actually stayed in the bouncy seat for a little while.
