This morning at 9am we headed to the soccer fields for a momentous occasion!
William finally got to start soccer. This morning while getting dressed he told me, "I can't believe I am finally old enough for soccer!" William is on the Colts and Chad and our friend Randall (also the youth minister at our church) are the coaches.
Right before the game William came and stood behind me in the stands. I asked why he was there and told him to get out with the team. He said, "Mommy, we actually have to play that other team!" Luckily he got over his nerves pretty quickly.
Landry did a good job of staying put at the game (she was strapped down because she kept running on the field at practice).
The bench cracked me up during the whole game. Since they are four and five, everyone plays equal time and we don't keep score.
Our team made several of these "almost goals"
